Prepare the batter:

Build the treasure chest:
Cut the cake horizontally into two halves – the top part becomes the lid.
Now place the bottom half centered on a plate. Arrange bars like KitKat or other chocolate bars all around to represent the chest walls.
To make sure they stick to the cake, use either some of the cake glaze or, for example, our Happy Drip in Midnight Black, and glue the chocolate bars to the sides of the cake this way.
Prepare the glaze:
Melt the chocolate coating or cake glaze according to the package instructions. Coat the cake lid all around with it and let it dry well.
Sand for decoration:
Simply leave the ladyfingers in the packaging and crumble them finely with a wooden spoon or rolling pin. Then distribute the crumbs around the cake – this creates the perfect edible sandy beach!Fill the treasure:
Fill the chest with your favorite sprinkles, chocolate balls, edible gold coins, or marshmallows. Here it's allowed to sparkle, glitter, and crackle!
Decorate and place the lid:
Now warm the Happy Drip Golden Glow according to the instructions on the package and decorate the lid as desired.
Decorate and place the lid:
Now warm the Happy Drip Golden Glow according to the instructions on the package and decorate the lid as desired. Place it slightly tilted on the treasure chest – as if it had just been opened!
